While on median result of motivation score that was 65, minimum score that was 45 and maximum score was 74. Interest and motivation of study respondents after treatment showed anmean score of interest that was 35.91 and standard deviation 4.69. While on the mean score of motivation was 64.48 and standard deviation 7.82.
Results: Based on the result of research, interest and motivation of the respondents before treatment showed the mean score of interest that was 35.26 and standard deviation 3.44. Data analysis using paired test t test in interest learning variable and alternative test of Wilcoxon in motivation learning variable. Instruments used were Mozart classical music and questionnaire sheets. Sampling in this study using total sampling technique, thatwas by selecting all members of the population used as a sample and the number of respondents 23 children. Methods: This research type was Pre Experiment, using One Group Pretest and Posttest Design approach. The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of classical music (Mozart) to the interest and motivation of schoolchildren in SD N 4 Tahunan Jepara. Background: The low interest and low motivation to learn will affect the success of students in achieving understanding and achievement while learning, one of the stimulation for interest and motivation to learn that is classical music of Mozart.
